Thank you Rick. I have a friend here in Sweden who speaks German, and an uncle who actually also lives in Moenchen-Gladbach. I have in the past had discussions with Harald, so will contact him again. My main problem is that the service manager at the Porsche centre in Fulda is insisting that the German law will not permit him to supply me with any history as it contains personal data (names etc) for past owners, and without written approval from these people he can not send anything to me. That I would be happy with if he would be willing to give me the name in the first place so that I can ask them (three in total, and I am sure the first one is probably dead by now!!!) - a bit of a chicken and egg situation So I was hoping to find a pelican with some good contacts within the German Porsche system who might be able to pull some strings and help
