I used to live in a somewhat rundown old rental property. I have had squirrels in the attic, and mice in the walls. You know what you do? You corner them, you grab the little rodent, and you chuck them in the yard. Then patch the holes until next time.
Unless it's a squirrel. You eat them.
Possum, too, but you have to catch them live and feed them grain for about 2 weeks to get some of the gaminess out of them.
Mice... well, not so much. They're too small to make much of a meal. I guess you could skin a whole mess of them and then deep fry them like chicken wings. That might be good with a little Texas Pete.
