Definitely not a 915. I found some numbers but these are casting numbers? Is 10 75 to mean production date October 1975 making it from a '76 car?
There's a view of it... How come your pic of an early one does not have the cutout at the top of the bellhousing?
And here's with a ruler... From the bellhousing to starter mount, it's less than 4"!
