There's a pic of one of mine below. It's not going to be my Ultimate '58-'59 Les Paul Replica when its done, but its a cool project.
Body is Honduras mahogany and has a good weight to it. The top is western maple instead of eastern. The Top carve is off and the routes are a not 100% correct. The neck is flat sawn, and the profile is too thin. I honestly may ebay this neck and have another one made. Fretboard is brazilian rosewood, but its very light in color. The inlays are wrong, but nobody has gotten those right for a long time.
Im actually going to have this one nitro laquered in Sepia brown to match my car. The guy who built this would probably cringe at the thought of covering his perfectly book matched figured maple top, but I just don't really like perfect pin stripey tops.
