This morning two women were run down while jogging near the beach in south Orange county. They were jogging well off the road, but a car swerved over and hit them.
The driver of the car left the scene and the car was abandoned about 1 mile away.

One of the women hit was Carol Daniel, my wife's best friend since high school.
She is a mother of three young children who are friends with my kids.
She is still in surgery with fractured vertibrae in her neck, several compound fractures, and other injuries. Her condition is reported as critical and not yet stabilized. Carol's friend who was jogging with her is in critical condition also.
If you believe in God please say a prayer for Carol, her friend, and her family.
