Anyway, we have no heroism problem in Iraq, or in battles anywhere. Taken as an average, we are exceptional. The problem, the heroism deficit, is in the privileged and political classes. Here, and throughout the west, these "important" but small men shrink from the moral hard work of maintaining freedom.
