I've never had problems with any police or troopers, but game wardens seem to be the real tiny-pricked power mongers. We had a restaurant on a lake, and this guy would stand on the end of our dock with his binocs looking for people breaking the law out on the lake. Needless to say, with him standing there, we got zero business from people who normally dock and come in for food/whatever. Golf carts have been deemed the preferred means of transportation at this one section of the lake, which basically just gives them permission to drive them on the streets. Anyway, this prick finds a golf-cart with two young girls in it, turns on his lights and sirens on his large truck and pulls them over, he had these two girls in tears by the time he was finished yelling.

My dad and uncle were out on jetskis one afternoon, and there's Ranger Matt on his little deck-boat and 5hp engine. He spots my uncle and stops him about 100 yards from the beach, and proceeds with a lecture about no-wake zones within 50 yards of land, etc., all things my uncle (a 30 year vet of the lake) know all about. About this time, my dad comes tearing ass around the pier and gets close enough to splash both my uncle and this clown. Now... matt's boat isn't all that fast, so he tries to kick it into high, but has no chance of catching my dad, so he yells to my uncle (who is laughing hysterically by now), "Go catch him!" To which my uncle replied something to the effect of, "Isn't that your job." Finally, my dad circes back around for a second pass and stops, grinning ridiculously the entire time. My dad can be a facetious dick sometimes, and since we've all dealt with matt before, he really had it going. "Beautiful weather, huh, matt?" "Nice boat ya got there, matt." on and on. I don't think either of them ended up with a ticket.

Man, I've got so many stories about this guy... like the time he called my sweet little 'ol grandma a "biting sow" in front of my grandpa. I swear, fire shot out of his eyes.
