clearly not one of you have actually read the site. It commemorates the
IMPERIAL Iranian Air force (IIAF). AKA, the Air force of the Shah.
Not the IRIAF (Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force)
Sure some of the stories come from the Islamic period, but the site is IMPERIAL. As that air force hasn't existed in over 20 years, my guess is that the site was created by refugee/ex-patriates and not by the current Islamic Government.
Note that there is a page dedicated to those who fought against the Islamic Regime and were executed..

Other than the US equipment they inherited from the IIAF in the '70s, it would appear that they have made few modern aviation purchases, instead concentrating on SAMs.
