Funny story, happened yesterday:
Driving home from my son's preschool, down dirt roads. Saw a car stopped with a turtle right in front, I thought 'cool, I'm not the only one who helps out turtles crossing the road'. Pulling by, I noticed that the driver was a hot hot hot 18ish girl, so I stopped and rolled down the window and offered to move the turtle for her, you know, cuz hot chicks wouldn't want to touch a turtle, right? Well, she says "No thanks, I can get it, but there is a big snapper up a little further, and he snapped at me so I just drove around, you could move that one for me (all said in do me now voice, hot)." So I drive off thinking ' yeah, little snapper scared the girlie girl', whatever. 200' ahead I see a boulder in the road. Shell was 18+" front to back!!! Big snapper, I helped him to a pond and he was cool about it. Still can't get the smell off my hands though...
