Since making my hasty decision (hey, i'm young and dumb) I've been doing some reading and I think you guys are right... The total cost of that policy would be around $2800, and there is *no* way I would get use out of it uness I managed to blow an engine. A waterpump/belt job on the car is only $400, and I'd consider that to be one of the most major items that need to be done, and it looks like I can do most of the other work myself. So, I cancelled it and will be putting the $ I would have spent on the warranty in a separate account for medical and car expenses... it will probably turn into the Porsche fund
