On Pirates of the Caribbean II & III we told crew members that St. Vincent and Dominica were the worst places to get hurt because if someone got a compound fracture, they would be getting medivaced to Miami (because of the staph infection rate) and they wouldn't see an ER for a minimum of 12 hours (although we did have a trama surgeon on staff on the islands for minor and major accidents). That got people's attention and made a lot of crew members think before they decided to do something stupid.
