V6 swaps for miata are a waste of time and energy. There are a couple routes for boosting (no pun intended) the power of a miata. There are several good super/turbocharger kits that range from $2500-$4500, and there are also kits for dropping mustang 5.0 engines into miata. I believe someone has even put Chevy engines in them.

I think I may eventually go turbo. V-8's and superchargers will probably be much harder on transmissions and rear ends than turbos.

But none of those options would sound as good as that tiny little V-16.
