I'd recommend a different route through Oklahoma. Take I-44 West to Tulsa. Go South on highway 75 and pick up the turnpike at Henryetta. Turn South on highway 69 just South of McAlester. Keep going till you hit Dallas. Pick up I-35E in downtown Dallas and head south.

Do not go anywhere near Oklahoma City, if you want to make good time. I-35 has way too much traffic. There are places on the turnpike that you'll have a couple of miles of visibilty if you want to wick it up a little. DO NOT speed in any of the small towns along the way. Thay all have cops with nothing to do but give you a ticket. 10 over the limit is usually OK on the major roads.
