ryan, sounds like a book in my taste. When printed - send me a copy and will send you a copy of my book for parents on common deceases in childhood (you do have children, right?).
When I wrote that book it was like magic. I sat down in the evening and decided what topic for that chapter. Then the words just poured out of my head. I hardly stopped writing for a minute until I was finished with that chapter. I then closed the book and did not look at it for at least a week. The amazing thing is that when I did - I didnīt wanna change one single word.
My own experience is that the first thought very often is the best. Changing and rewriting send me into a never ending spiral of uncertainty and ambivalence.
