In Ontario, we only have 87 89 91 octane levels. Only one gas station, Sunoco offer 94 octane.

The price of gas in Canada is ridiculous. In good times, it is around $3/gallon (68-70 cents/L) but now it $4.80/gallon (~110 cents/L).

Not only do the oil companies make a killling off us, the government has a set gas tax/L then on top of that charges an additional 7% tax (also charges tax on the tax, which is disgusting). So you can understand why Civics, Corollas and Cobalts (and Echos, Fits and Aveos) do extremely well in Canada.

EDIT: BTW, the gas prices are FOR 87 OCTANE ONLY. Add 5-10 cents/L for 89 and another 5-10 cents/L for 91. I have no clue what 94 octane costs.
