If the 942S is set up like the early 944, then the low side is at the compressor and the high side is at the reciever dryer.
To get to the low side fitting you need to loosen the adjuster mounting bolts, loosen the compressor mounting bolts, slack off the belt tension, and swing the compressor down.
Connect your hose to the low side service fitting and then SLOWLY tension the drive belt. Make sure that you do not damage the service fitting.
