I believe the medical term is obsessive jealousy. Not that I am gods gift to women or anything (far from it), but when you take your mother out to dinner for her birthday, and your women has issues with that, I prefer the term crazy.

She dumped me because she thought I had an interest in someone else--anyone-all the time.

It's like a roller coaster (I normally go through several days of explaining it's not the case, then we are ok, then she starts again) but after all these years of the same conversation that I am not that way--I have no more strength.
