tonypeoni: It helps to state what year/type your car is because the sump plate was modified over the years.
That said, I think it is not very smart to use the sump plate for jacking.
Go just slightly ahead (towards the clutch) on the engine seam with a wooden block, or a hockey puck.
Regarding search: A lot of people take the short-cut of letting other people do the search.
Use the "Search" button, all the info is there.
