Get yourself a jack pad from our host. I use it all the time. I lift one side then put a jack stand under the torsion bar covers; then do the other side. The nice thing about the jack pad is it's ease of use. I'll lift the car just to have a look at stuff in order to familiarize myself with the car; you might say "just for the fun of it". And, as the others have mentioned; the search button. I've learnt a ton about my car by spending hours reading old posts. Of course this is where I might run out and lift the car to get an eyeball on what I may have just read about. My P-car insurance ran out two weeks ago but the fun doesnt' end when you can't drive it. I'm doing a valve adjustment this week end and will continue to putter with the car until I dicide to put it back on the road. This is the other half of the fun in ownership of these cars.
