If you were going 10K then bumping up to 15K would be no problem. If you wanted to try going any further I would suggest doing some oil analysis - pull a sample at 15K and have it tested for condition and wear metals. If it looks good go to 18K (for mostly city & idle) or 20K (highway) and pull another sample. keep it going till te analysis tells you to stop the insanity. I did this with my Volvo and got to 40+K before the test results told me to change. When I had Castrol in it it would only go to about 6K. Let me know if you would like some test kits. I might need some $$ - they go for $10/ea our cost (list is $18 to $25).
