Well its done. 20 hours drive time. One and half days. 1350 miles. 23.8mpg. I think the turbo increases fuel economy....at sustained 75-80mph.
Followed the proposed route suggestions.
Never even checked the oil. Temp and level gauges never moved from 8:00 and 2:00 and pressure was where it should be.
Only had a few good chances for some nice triple digit speed work.
Since this car will now be in San Antonio at my house here, I'll have to learn about getting a safety inspection with no cat, air pump/injection, egr,... Pre 1984...
Any Texans know the rules for non smog Bexar County???
