This would actually be going in my Golf, the 944 is still down for repairs needing new steering rack, either tie rods or control arm and left front fender.
Hopefully I can work on it this summer. VW says 5-w30 in the Golf, so that's what I'm running in the Mobil 1 variety.
Mobil 1 in an escavator? I'd hate to have to pay for that every 300hrs. How much oil do those things take? The only upside to working at JiffyLube is that Mobil 1 is a great price. Free.
