The best thing to do is one search on headers for that.

Then do a search on mufflers.

You can mark which ones have pics or download pics onto your computer for comparison.

Some examples of good mufflers are Dansk and mb991 (m&k?) for a reasonable cost. Or get a Monty and pay more, but get dyno data with it.

The important thing to avoid with aftermarket mufflers is the LOSS of hp. You will not improve on the factory muffler, and some amkes are much worse.

Likewise, you will not gain any hp over good heat exchangers like the SSIs - they already have built in 'headers' -- but IIRC, your SC has a fairly poor stock exhaust system. You may be able to get 5-10 hp extra out of it with SSIs or raw headers and a good muffler.

Avoid just hooking up any ol' muffler for US cars.
