The idle was unsteady about 1,100-1,200 rpm. I cranked the screw ~ 3 turns, which brought the idle down to 1,000. Somehow it seems the idle isn't as smooth as before? However, there is a noticeable increase in performance.
I'll check the microswitch. The linkage may need slight adjustment since it was uninstalled for my clutch project.
