A couple of these reminded me of a story my friend told me about his mom and dad.

They were driving, in a hurry to get somewhere, and got a flat. My friends father pulled over the vehicle, and began preparing to change the tire. My friends mother, frustrated and angered that they were going to be late because of this flat tire, blurted out:

"Can't we make it there without changing the tire, look, it's only flat on the bottom!"

I can assure you that this story was not a fabrication.
