Wow, this went way OT from the original post, but in a good way, I can see.
Thanks all for the support--I finally knocked this out before the deadline and handed it off to my co-author for his run-thru--and he sent it back to me with maybe 3 changes.
It's in the editors' hands now, and now we're waiting to peer-review the adjacent chapters.
The best part was citing 2 of my previous papers in the biblio.
