I just happened to be in Germany last weekend and was able to meet up with a group of Volvo S60R owners from the swedespeed forum. As a new R owner I was super excited and couldn't wait. I met up with Kelly who is the organizer of many of their events and rode up with him.
This is on the autobahn on the way up (it's a US spec and the speedo is in MPH, that would be it pegged at 160!). I was impressed with how smooth and planted the car was. It never felt jumpy or loose even at this insane speed. It did however avg about 11mpg with the driving style
Here are some of the folks we met up with Dawn, Kelly, Rob, and I, Johann isn't pictured.
Here are the Rs... nice billboard huh

This was my first ride and it was awesome. I was surprised about how much I felt I knew the track simply from playing Project Gotham Racing... That was until we hit the Karosel when I learned it is a really bad idea to be looking at the camera and not at the track... I instantly got slightly motion sick. But after lunch I'd be back in for another ride.
Kelly took this photo over by the gift shop. The Gran-Prix was coming this weekend and there were some really nice cars under heavy security. I'm not sure if it is real, but it looked fantastic!
