I asked for the most agressive streetable tune he could provide. I also had him tune for 91 octane here in Nevada. My suburban is a 99 so I do not have the tow/haul button. When ordering the tune provide:
Year and Make/Model
Vin Number
Rear end ratio if not stock
Mods to vehicle
Tire size for speedo calcs
Octane you will be using i.e 87, 89, 91, 93
With the tune the truck is noticably stronger off the line and when passing. I did have to have the crank position relearn performed at the dealer ($46.00) and that is when the truck really came alive. Give Jesse a call with your concerns. He is a really cool guy and will take care of you.
It is worth noting that I did not expect tire frying performance from this mod (truck weighs around 5,000 pounds) but can actually chirp the tires when mashing the go pedal
Now if only I could get similar performance gains for the 930 for $158.10
