I've seen nothing beats the shine of pre-polishing with a Porter Cable random orbital polisher and good polish followed by a good wax or sealant. I've been using Menzerna polishes with great results. On my daily driver VW, I use Klasse acrylic sealant after polishing. On the Porsches I use P21S wax.
