In 2003 I paid $7k for a 78 coupe that had a fresh engine and newer trans. Paint and interior were shot though. No matter what you pay initially you'll have 20K+ in it before it is where you want it. These cars are old. If it hasn't been done, no matter what "it" is, it will have to be, and soon. That said, it's worth every penny! Cheers
