Sure glad that we saved Mothers "coin silver" spoons.
Way back in the early 1900's someone in the family took loads of silver dollars to the mint in KY and they melted them down. Gave them an ingot or three and they then took them to a man who made a set of silver spoons that have the "$" stamped on the back, showing that they were made out of "coin silver."
Who knows what they are worth but bet they are holding their value.
