The hydro sub thing isn't really a sub. I saw a special on it once on discovery.
Basically you get in the canopy part and take it out to where the depth is okay for it, and then it sinks until the toppart is on the water. Then you can truck around for a while at that depth down in the water checking out the sites, while the part above allows the air to be refreshed and I believe the gas powered engine to breath also.
When your tired of it, you flush the tanks, it rises back up, and you let someone else have a turn.
