There are loads of different cleaners, detergents, et. available. Each one claiming to be "The Best, Most Powerful." some for cleaning decks, some for cleaning concrete, some are multi-purpose.
The one thing I have found to be the
real "best" is TSP (Trisodium Phosphate) You can buy it in a powder form and mix it to suit your strength requirements. I mix 2 cups with 4 gallons of warm water (1/2 cup per gal.) and then add maybe a cup or so of bleach.
Spray it on using the low-pressure setting on your washer and let it set for about 10 - 15 minutes. After waiting, apply another dose and scrub it wit a nylon bristle brush to loosen any stubborn areas. Then, blast it away using a high pressure rinse. You'll marvel at your results.
You can use the above mixture on the outside of your house as well. The TSP will break up all the grease and grime and the bleach will take care of any mold or algae that may be present.
NOTE: Water down any surrounding plantlife prior to, and occasionally durring washing to prevent damage to them.
