Ferrari is not interested in larger market share. They want to limit the amount of cars they build total per year. The recognize that selling a few cars at very high profit, is something they can do best.

Porsche on the other hand, is different. 10 years ago, especialy as that of of been even closer to the Porsche Rally cars, I think they could of done a SUV then to and I'd of accepted it, although with the technoledgy of today, I'd prefer what they came up with now. The Turbo version is fairly cool.

If Ferrari decided to do a minivan sized vehichle, so long as it had a good sounding Ferrari engine at the heart, it would still catch my ear. Very often I see in books people refer ot the engine as being the Soul of the Ferrari, it doesn't realy matter what body work its wrapped in, just so long as the engine sounds and runs good.
