to both of you.........love world war II history. have almost thought about getting teaching certificate. saintz from aus works and is manager of fightermuseum.com in new wales, aus. hes the one doing left hand drive conversion to "WRONG" side goofy english side(right hand). his friend rotorhead is ex aus F-18 pilot. so yeah there are a few of us pelicans that get off on planes as well. my dad was stationed in biak new guinea luzon building airstrips under fire. pt boat piers, and also ramps for catalinas to come on shore for maint. lots of pics of this, just have to find time to shoot with digital 5 meg to reproduce for mark in aus. to ID deceased and "N" numbers from crashed war birds they find in pacific ocean and on land. cool stuff. would give my left huevos to go scuba diving on ANY WWII plane or ship! have drysuit............will travel!
