i am a native so they will be dragging me out by my boots! give a shout. grumman comes and goes on occasion btwn here and nevada.its been recerted as far a GVW, but landing it here stills pisses alot of people off who dont know jack about recerts and they think they know airport rules(WEIGHT) and regs. its a private airport with killer CC&R's and it has led to fistfights(wayyy cool) and then litigation(all the time) so its a real goofy place to work. i just hide out and think about porsche parts all day! LOL! been here 9 yrs now and its beyond belief the stupid s$%# i have seen. my latest stunt was to get pictures of 88 yr old guy who was running up plane and allegedly "THE THROTTLE STUCK" and him and plane landed in ravine w/severe structural damage and one severely damaged ego! i took pictures and my pic landed on front page center of local newspaper with caption......."DESTINATION DITCH", with sub-line.........if he ever gets off the ground........god save us all! LOL! like the aspen newspaper banner says..........if you dont want it printed.............DONT DO IT! LOL! airports are fun! ask me how airport mgr. and myself WILL THWART any future terrorist activity here!!! can you say HECKLER UND KOCH! we like german thangs that go bang here! seeya!
