Head Temp Sensor

You said the sensor near the #3 cylinder is disconnected... this is the head temp sensor, and the car will not run without it connected and operating properly (at least not for long!). The L-Jet computer looks at this sensor and adjusts the mixture accordingly. I believe the higher the resistance, the colder it thinks it is outside. So, if it is disconnected the computer will think it is really cold and pour all kinds of fuel into the engine. Fix all the vacuum leak issues for sure, but also take care of this before trying to run the car.
