i've been researching this for months, it's all about the transfer of the weight. there is a guy on the cichlid-forum which just built an 1100 gallon tank using similar methods,

i'm going to need to rig up some tarps/hose/fan to evacuate the fumes from the tank when i get to the fiberglass/epoxy stage.....but i'll worry about that when i get there
