Low side fitting will be on the bigger of the 2 pipes, and is either located on the driver's strut tower, or by the compressor on all model 944's. ?
hmmm,
on pre 85/1 (nippondenso 6E171) the low side service valve may be on the compressor manifold port (where hose connects to compressor),
from 85/2 up through approximately 87 (nippondenso 10P15)
the low side service valve may be on the low side suction line between the evaporator outlet and the compressor inlet
and from 87 somewhere onward moved back to the compressor manifold?
