Over the various model years the locations of the service fittings has wandered a bit.
On the early models ('83 to 85.0) the low side fitting is at the front of the compressor and the high side fitting is down stream from the reciever dryer.
On later models the low side fitting is towards the rear of the compressor, and the high side fitting moved to the driver side shock tower. Some later models (like my '86 951 have both service fittings at the driver side shock tower, with a second low side fitting at the rear of the compressor.
