Happiness is a caliber beginning in "4" - .44 Special, .44 Mag, .45 ACP, and the grandaddy of them all, the .45 Colt.
300 grain bullets over case fulls of Winchester #296 pistol powder in either the .44 Mag or .45 Colt and you've damn near reached nirvana... Either one will make that little .357 snubbie look like... well... a .357 snubbie. Poodle-shooter at best...
