The theory of evolution has nothing to do with the origins of life on this planet, so I doubt that "evolutionists" acknowledge anything like what you've written above. That sounds like some Kent Hovind nonsense.
I think people like to hide behind "statistics" like the one above when they don't fully understand science or don't want to try.
