I know this topic has been covered before, but I just needed to vent and see what others have encountered. That said, does anyone else feel like they sometimes drive around with a big target on their back? Well, just lately I've been tailed, cut-off, raced, chased, followed, and avoided accidents from every make, model, and idiot who decided that day "they want to play around with a Porsche." Oh, men in their Pick-em' up trucks are the worst.
Not sure what it is that incites these people into driving this way. I don't drive aggressively - I have a black, stock looking car which IMO doesn't scream "race me!" But apparently I'm starting to believe it DOES! Those big @$$ Suburban SUV's who ride my bumper scare me. Too much velocity and mass moving to be doing that.
I try slowing down to let them go by, and that doesn't seem to work. A quick 60-120mph usually gets the point across, but 2 wrongs don't make a right. I truly think living in NC is probably part of the problem. But it's quickly becoming annoying to even drive the car.
Than again, maybe people just want to see what the car is capable of and figure if they can piss off the driver that'll get him to speed up. Well, IT WORKS!
