Those are some stories, some people here in Michiagn act a little nuts around a Porsche even a rough around the edges one like mine.
The latest story is; there is a line of cars turning left, my car was the last one. The lane which turns right is pretty small (must turn can't go straight), most full sized cars and trucks just can't squeeze by and have to wait before they can get in - I even have to wait half the time. The road is old and made before giant SUV rulled, speed limit is 25 mph, residential cross street................ So out of know where I hear this horn just about in my ear, I look over and this guy slightly behind me swearing at me telling me to get over. He is in total panic and angry (might hit the curb or the power box 12" off the corner - been hit twice in ten years), but I'm already starting into the turn. I yelled something back just as nasty, I tried to wave but only one finger came out.
Notes to people in large cars on tight urban streets:
1. If the road or lane is narrow don't blame the other cars or drivers of cars they did not design or build the road, it was there before any of us were born. They/we are in our lane and fit, suggest you stay in your lane without causing undue attention to your lack of driving ablities. A horn just tells us you blow, and blow hard.
2. If the parking space says small cars only, that's what it means.
3. If you can't parallel park or fit into a steet side parking space then use the parking structure.
4. While in the parking structure you see a sign saying "full sized SUV's and Trucks do not use ramp", don't use the ramp, do not go flying down the ramp at 40 mph, speed limit is only 5 mph in there.
5. Respect small cars, motorcycles, people on bikes including designated bike lanes.
Thank you for your time.
