I've got a couple of these ready to bolt in and go. The rebuilt 915 shift housing assembly is disassembled, cleaned, lubed and the clearances optimized for easy shifting. The factory two-piece shift lever is welded at the joint line so it doesn't separate at an inconvenient moment. Some do.
Photo above shows a modified carrier plate for the 901 gearbox pattern (reverse lockout pawl removed). An unmodified factory carrier plate is supplied for 915 gearbox applications.
