i agree that it serves no good purpose here to denigrate african americans and marginalize their myriad contributions to humanity..what i think is being 'discussed' here is that sector of their 'sub-culture' that certainly not all blacks find at all appealing..just like we have our 'white trash' that are prone to 'embarrasing us' from time to time. what roninlb said is certainly true enough..as it applies to just about EVERYTHING..just follow the money trail..it drives aspects of our 'culture', whether we like it or not. the almighty $ is just too powerful not to have a gigantic impact in our lives..
