So, some people from Afghanistan emigrated to Canada. Some people from Afghanistan were Al Qaeda. Thus, all people from Afghanistan are bad, and must not be allowed into the country?

Moreover, I believe the support for them in fighting the Soviets was US-based. I'm really confused as to how to tell when Afghans became bad rather than good, and what immigration laws have to do with that.
Unless, of course, being xenophobic is good.
