Just flew from Africa to London on British Airways. When they taxi'ed in they told everyone to stay in their seats, that the ground personel needed to check some things. Never heard that type of announcement in 30+ years.
When they allowed us to board it turned out that the British Police had pulled three people off of the bird and were holding them in the gangway. All were Africans and were arguing with the police before they were detained.
