FWIW that isn't a Marine and those aren't even DCUs (Desert Combat Uniform) that are worn in the theater.
Not sure where that pic came from but I bet it wasn't anywhere in the AOR. Maybe Bosnia or something.
I'm not besmirching the photo, just pointing out that it likely isn't from Iraq or Afghanistan.
