I wouldn't worry about that anyway. The idea that the Turbo tranny is so much stronger is a half truth. The only thing significantly better about the trans put in the 951 did not appear until 88 and only on the 951S, and on all 951 models for 89 on. That was shot peening of the 1st and 2nd gears. The stronger R&P made its appearance in the 944S2, not the 951.
